We partner with different suppliers with fleets as small as 30 cars operating on a single island, to larger companies with hundreds of cars spread across the archipelago. When you book with us you are only required to pay a fraction of the total reservation cost. The rest is paid locally when you pick-up your car.

Our car rental prices are based in sections of 24 hours from the time of collection.
Both our website and the car rental supplier can only guarantee a certain car category and not a specific make or model. Car rental companies feature cars from many different manufacturers in the same category which should have the same features as confirmed at time of reservation.
No surprises. The fuel tank will be full or part-full when you pick your car up. Just replace the fuel you've used before you drop your car off and you'll pay no fuel fees at all. Most the car rental companies we work with offer the FULL/FULL fuel policy. You can check this at the checkout page.
The car will have a certain quantity of fuel at pick-up and should be returned with the same quantity.
A part of the cost is charged from your card as soon as the reservation is confirmed. The remaining is paid directly to the car rental supplier when you pick-up the car. This payment breakdown can be found on the checkout page and on the confirmation emails.
Most of the car rental companies we work with don't require a credit card, but some do. You can verify this at the checkout page under the "Terms and Conditions".
Yes, that's no problem.
Yes, you can easily do amendements to your booking details. Just write us an email and we'll do that for you.
No. After booking with us your reservation request will be pending until the car rental company confirms availability. This can take up to 48 hours. Once confirmed, we will send you the booking confirmation.
In cases where the requested vehicle is not available we will contact you to advise on other options and price difference if applicable. You can still cancel your reservation free of cost - no questions asked.
Yes. You can cancel your booking up to 24 hours before - no questions asked - and we will refund the amount paid when you booked online.
Yes! In the Azores car rentals are super flexible and don't charge one way fees.
Unfortunately that's not possible. You will have to return the car to an office in the same island as you picked it up from.
No. When the cancellation is due to circumnstances beyond our control (eg. car rental goes into bankrupcy, changes nature of business, natural disaster, etc.) We cannot be held responsible and an alternative would need to be discussed with the car rental directly. However we will always refund back the deposit paid when the reservation was made and help you figure out an alternative.
All rental cars have a public/third party liability insurance with a minimum coverage amount as per local legislation. Third-party liability coverage is the portion of an insurance policy that protects you if you're sued (or threatened to be sued) for a physical injury or damage to someone else's property.
Yes. All our car rental partners offer insurance packages for total peace of mind, such as CDW (Collision Damage Waiver - to reduce the liability) or SuperCDW (to reduce even more or exclude the liability), Personal Accident Insurance, Theft Insurance or other insurances. You can check which insurance packages are available under "Terms & Conditions" on the checkout page, and can be hired when you pickup the car, directly with the car rental company.
Not at all! The Azores has very good roads on all its islands and a 4x4 / all terrain vehicle is not necessary to drive around or to have a comfortable drive.
No. Corvo is a very small island so there are no car rental companies operating there.
No. Unfortunately the ferry boat that connects both islands is a small one that can only carry passengers.
